This Easter, we were reminded that God gives us the power to choose—but not all choices lead to life. After a powerful miracle in Acts 3, Peter doesn’t just celebrate—he confronts the crowd. He boldly lays out the truth: “This is what you chose.” In a culture where “sorry” is often enough, Peter calls for real accountability and repentance.
Even after witnessing God’s power, the people needed to be reminded of their past choices so they could fully grasp the grace being offered. The miracle got their attention, but the truth set them on the path to life. We’re still faced with that same choice today—choose life, choose Jesus.
